Top 10 Worst Social Media Marketing Fails..

It was truly difficult to decide which was the biggest fail out of the 10 posts, because everything is offensive in today's society. The one I believe to be the most ridiculous is number 9, only because most of the world celebrated Thanksgiving and Black Friday this week. Basically, Kmart decides to let the world know that they would be staying open through all of Black Friday and this upset many people and Kmart's ethics were brought into question over Twitter. Kmart wasn't having it and their Social Media team fired back at customers with over 100 responses of the same thing; " @jennbrazen Kmart is staffing w/ teams & seasonal associates when possible, giving them opportunity to make extra money during holiday. — Kmart (@Kmart) November 6, 2013."

Honestly I thought this was hilarious. Yes, it is unfortunate to have to work on Thanksgiving and Black Friday- however, that is life and that is the price you pay to work in retail. As someone whose major is in Apparel Merchandising, I am aware that I may have to work a Holiday. The plus to working a Holiday is that you do in fact, get paid. I also don't think that Kmart went too far firing back at customers, they have a job to do as well and they are providing a service to the company, and also to their employee's who they have hired to work.
